Sands exists to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, to improve the bereavement care received by parents and families, and to promote research to reduce the number of babies dying. Everything we do – the services we run, the public health messages we promote, the way we raise money – is focused around these three aims.
Every single penny that our lottery raises will help to provide our core services to support people affected by baby loss including the provision of our accredited national free helpline and bereavement support app, and our Sands Groups providing support in the community right across the UK.

How it works
The Lottery results are calculated using the temperatures from selected destinations around Europe on a particular day each week.
Players are assigned 6 numbers when registering, that are then checked against the last 6 digits of temperatures in Fahrenheit that are published in the Daily Mail on the day of the draw.
