Helping Rhinos was established:
To lead conservation and education initiatives to ensure a future for rhino and other endangered wildlife in their natural habitat.
To protect rhino populations and safeguard their natural habitat.
To instigate educational initiatives that highlight the importance of conserving the rhino and other endangered species and demonstrate the benefits that can be derived from a sustainable coexistence between man and wildlife.
Money raised for Helping Rhinos from the Weather Lottery will help fund some of our key projects in the field. With your support, we can fund a greater number of anti-poaching patrols, we can train rangers with sniffer dogs to deter criminal gangs and, we can ensure infant rhino orphans, victims of poaching, have sufficient milk, meds and veterinary care to help them survive their traumatic ordeal.
How it works
The Lottery results are calculated using the temperatures from selected destinations around Europe on a particular day each week.
Players are assigned 6 numbers when registering, that are then checked against the last 6 digits of temperatures in Fahrenheit that are published in the Daily Mail on the day of the draw.
